3-won-Partnered with Cookie Clickers
The Cookie Clickers had an outstanding human operator who paid attention to the color patterns. The team earned a big bonus because of her efforts to keep things aligned.

This was a blow-out.

Alliance Selection
The team had a ranking of their prospective alliance partners and some preferences. The top ranked team picked CVU. As second place team, we could have asked the 3rd or 4rth placed teams but we had worked really weill with cookie clickers, and through that the team work would matter under the stress of playoffs. The third and fourth teams combined, promoting the Trash Pandas. They picked the strongest remaining team for their alliance but had not planned to be alliance captains.
